La Cupula Music, based in Barcelona, evolved its value proposition in line with the needs of independent artists and the digital music market trends, with the vision of becoming a leading partner for independent music companies, music publishers, labels and artists around the globe. Thus, La Cúpula Music has focused since 2009 in R&D in order to develop the first Cloud platform for digital distribution in the music sector, a proposal that has gained the support both Business Angel investors, that fueled a 400k Seed round in 2017, and the Spanish Ministry of Industry, which supported the innovation of the project via an R&D grant. Our product, SonoSuite is a white-label SaaS solution for the digital music market that enables centralized portfolio management (both audio and video), automatized digital distribution to the different digital music markets (or DSPs) and centralized royalties and rights collection and payment in a transparent and user-friendly way. The platform is currently integrated with over 80 DSPs around the world thanks to our own distribution contracts with markets such as Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Deezer, Google Play and Amazon Music, as well as with video channels (YouTube, VEVO and Facebook), rights collecting organisations (Soundexchange, AGEDI) and music fingerprinting services (Gracenote, Shazam, BMAT).
